Long and with fantastic views from the top
Riding the HillDropping down, south out of Pulverbatch and ignoring a left turn you come to the gently start of this climb. It gradually steepens through high hedges as you approach a couple of houses on a rise.
After this it flattens out to shallower gradients but also opens out - that means you can see the steep ramp further on. And it is steep. Pretty soon you are on it and the 18% gradient really starts to tell. As you get around the corner of this step bit it starts to relax and continue up at a more reasonable 8% before properly finishing.
